By accessing or using Recession Today ("the Service", "we", "us", "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to all of these terms, you must not access or use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Recession Today provides macroeconomic data visualization, recession risk monitoring, and financial market analysis tools. The Service is designed for educational and informational purposes.

3. No Financial Advice

The Service does not provide financial advice. All information, data, analysis, dashboards, indicators, alerts, commentaries, and any other content provided by Recession Today is for informational and educational purposes only. Nothing on this platform constitutes a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any security, commodity, currency, or other financial instrument.

You acknowledge that any trading or investment decisions you make are solely your own, and you assume full responsibility for all risks, losses, and costs incurred as a result of such decisions. We strongly recommend consulting with a qualified financial professional before making any investment decisions.

4. Accuracy of Data

We source our data from the Federal Reserve (FRED), International Monetary Fund (IMF), World Bank, European Central Bank (ECB), Bank for International Settlements (BIS), Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), and other official sources. While we strive for accuracy, we make no representations or warranties regarding the completeness, accuracy, reliability, or timeliness of any data presented.

5. User Accounts

To access certain features of the Service, you must create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities under your account. You agree to provide accurate and complete information during registration and to update such information as necessary.

6. Subscription and Payment

Recession Today offers both free and paid subscription plans. Paid plans are billed monthly or annually through Stripe. You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds are provided for partial billing periods unless required by law.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, data visualizations, dashboards, charts, indicators, scoring methodologies, and written analysis on the Service are the intellectual property of Recession Today. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without express written permission.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Recession Today and its owners, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, including but not limited to damages for loss of profits, investment losses, trading losses, or other intangible losses resulting from the use or inability to use the Service.

9. Assumption of Risk

You expressly agree that your use of the Service is at your sole risk. Financial markets involve substantial risk of loss. Past performance of any indicator, strategy, or analysis is not indicative of future results. You assume full responsibility for all financial decisions made while using or after using the Service.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the Service after any modifications constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
